SYLVANIA Smart Home app has discontinued cloud server operation for SYLVANIA SMART+ Bluetooth products

The new version of the SYLVANIA Smart Home app will be a local app, meaning all data will be stored on your local device and cloud-to-cloud connection to other systems will no longer be possible.

There will be no interruption for users who are using SYLVANIA SMART+ Bluetooth products with Amazon Alexa or Google Home smart speaker. You can still control the smart devices with the respective smart speaker app. Your information/data of your Bluetooth devices is stored with the smart speaker.

For those who do not own a smart speaker and who are using the SYLVANIA Smart Home App to control SYLVANIA SMART+ Bluetooth devices, we recommend you do the following:
1. Select one device (smartphone/tablet) to serve as the main controller moving forward.
2. Download the SYLVANIA Smart Home app to your main smartphone/tablet.
3. Log into your account and confirm that all the Bluetooth devices are controllable. This step will save your devices data to the local phone/tablet.
4. Update to the new version of the SYLVANIA Smart Home App when it is released using Google Play Store (Android) or Apple App Store (iOS).

IMPORTANT: Do not delete the existing app! When you update, the new version of the app will overwrite the existing version and your smart devices will continue to work with the new app.

If you are unable to do the steps above, your phone/tablet will not have any record of your devices and you will need to set them up again (put them in pairing mode and pair them to your phone/tablet).
