How to use Bio-Adaptive Lighting
Bio-Adaptive Lighting will automatically change the light color and brightness of a bulb throughout the day to try to match the sun. This can help support human biological cycles, or circadian rhythms, which can ultimately lead to improved mood, performance, and overall well-being.
1. Open the SYLVANIA Smart Wifi app. Tap a light that supports Bio-Adaptive Lighting. (Tap on Effects to check if your light is compatible.) Tap Bio-Adaptive Lighting.
2. Tap to enable. Tap a day of the week to enable or disable lighting changes on that day.
3. Times when the light is set to change are called rhythms. New rhythms are enabled by default. Tap - next to each rhythm to disable it. Tap ⊕ to enable again.
4. Mode lets you choose your transition type: Gradual Change transitions the light color and intensity gradually from one rhythm point to another over time. Instant Change transitions the light color and intensity quickly, at the next rhythm point.
5. Tap + Add New to add a new rhythm.
6. Enter a name, set the time, temperature, brightness, and icon, and tap Save.
7. You can also drag icons around the circle to change the activation time for each rhythm.
8. Tap < to return to the Home screen. Note: Bio-Adaptive Lighting will remain active until you manually disable it. Other changes you make will interrupt your Bio-Adaptive rhythms until next day.
